High power, low weight aircraft engines, stored in the Neoteric engine bay, await installation.
The purchasing agent will be responsible for ordering all hovercraft components.

Primary responsibilities include:

·         Prepare purchase orders; verify specifications/prices; obtain recommendations from suppliers for substitutions; obtain approval from requisitioning department

·         Forward orders to suppliers; monitor and expedite orders

·         Monitor and analyze pricing for cost control

·         Verify receipt of orders; resolve errors in shipments

·         Process returns and outgoing shipments

·         Manage relations and communications with a large number of vendors

·         Manage inventory

·         Manage filing system

·         Collect, record and document parts information

Desired qualifications:

·         Experience in purchasing

·         Lean manufacturing experience

·         Inventory management experience

·         Computer skills

·         Arithmetic skills

·         Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

·         Communication skills

·         Strong negotiation skills

·         Motivated self-starter

·         Neat and orderly
